Luis E. Gomez
Luis is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with over 18 years of nursing experience, specializing in Emergency and Critical Care. Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Luis is fluent in English as well as Spanish.Luis started his journey in 1996 as an EMT-Paramedic in the field and at Ryder Trauma Center in Miami, Florida. Furthermore, he decided to pursue a career in nursing.
In 2003, Luis graduated from Broward College with his Associate of Science in Nursing. His passion was always the Emergency Department, but as RN traveler Luis gained extensive experience in Critical Care, Stepdown, Post-Anesthesia care, Medical-Surgical, and Telemetry.
Luis settled down in Central Florida and, in 2013, decided to advance his nursing degree from Associates to Bachelors. He graduated in 2015 with his Bachelor of Science degree and was awarded with the Nightingale Pride Award at College of Central Florida. That same year, Luis won the Community Health Systems Employee of the Year in 2015.
Luis’ main goal was achieving his dream of becoming a Nurse Practitioner. Luis’ ambition continued and he earned his master’s degree in Nursing with high honors in 2018, while working in administration at a Florida Hospital. Luis is certified as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is a Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN). Certifications include autonomous practice with DEA licensure in the State of Florida. Luis’ passions include primary care, men’s health, the regenerative medicine field, anti-aging, and alternative medicine. While not a work, Luis spends time with his family and enjoys traveling as well as sports.
